One of our favorite materials for the ventilated facade is that of artificial stone.
What is artificial stone?
They are panels of large format and minimum thickness based on pressed natural stone powder, printed and baked.
What are the advantages?
RESISTANT TO HIGH TEMPERATURES
It does not burn in contact with the fire or emit smoke or toxic substances
Lighter
Only 7 kg / m² in the table of 3 mm and 30 kg / m² in the table of 12 mm.
STRONG RESISTANT
Resistant to scratching and abrasion thanks to the hardness of its surface.
RESISTANT TO FLEXION
High break module. Resistant to high pressure and weight loads.
SUITABLE FOR HIGHER TRANSIT
Thanks to the hardness of its surface.
IMPERMEABLE
Waterproof and resistant to liquids. With a level of absorption close to zero.
RESISTANT TO UV RAYS
Being 100% natural, its color does not deteriorate with sun exposure or extreme temperatures
RESISTING TO ICE AND THE BELTS
It does not suffer any damage due to low temperatures.
EASY TO CLEAN
Resistant to chemical cleaning agents.
HYGIENIC
Do not break any harmful substances. It is totally suitable for contact with food.
100% NATURAL
Without resins It does not emit any substance harmful to the environment.
100% RECYCLABLE
Up to 52% of its mass, it is composed of recycled raw materials.
GREAT FORMAT
Pieces up to 3.60m by 1.20m with minimum thickness.
It means facades with greater uniformity and continuity since the boards are minimized.
This also facilitates its manipulation and provides greater aesthetic and hygienic advantages.
FINISHES
Variety of finishes from smooth and rough, to bright or nanopulido.

Our professional recommendation:
In our Architecture studio in Barcelona ERA architects, we recommend choosing the artificial stone as a finish for the ventilated facade of your house.
In addition we recommend that you add the PURETi treatment for almost no maintenance of your facade.
This patented treatment and technological partner of NASA, is composed of water and very slim particles of titanium dioxide. It is applied by micro-nebulization through a basic principle such as photocatalysis. It is a BLUE Wave technology (it reverses the environmental damage and restores the planetary balance).
