{"id":5490,"date":"2018-12-20T08:15:16","date_gmt":"2018-12-20T07:15:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/era.archi\/aerotermia-con-suelo-radiante-o-fancoil-conductos\/"},"modified":"2022-12-27T10:15:51","modified_gmt":"2022-12-27T09:15:51","slug":"aerothermal-with-underfloor-heating-or-fan-coils","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/era.archi\/en\/aerothermal-with-underfloor-heating-or-fan-coils\/","title":{"rendered":"Aerothermal with underfloor heating or fan coils?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Do you want to install aerothermal with underfloor heating or fan coils in your home?<\/p>\n<p>Do you want to know which of the two systems is more effective?<\/p>\n<p>In this post we explain which system is more effective.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>May you don\u2019t know us yet, let\u2019s have a quick introduction: we are ERA architects.<br \/>\nActually, I am Esther Rovira, architect and passive house designer in Barcelona, Catalonia and Andorra for either passive houses, efficient houses and positive houses.<br \/>\nIn this post\u00a0<em>\u2018Aerothermal with underfloor heating or fan coils?\u2019<\/em>, You will find our professional recommendation.<br \/>\nI hope it helps you!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What is more effective?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is proven that Aerothermal heating in heating mode is more efficient with a radiant floor system.<br \/>\nIn summer in warm-temperate climates, the most effective system is to ventilate or give a cold air aid.<\/p>\n<p>However, at the end, it all depends.<br \/>\nLet&#8217;s use common sense, let&#8217;s share each case:<\/p>\n<p>NEW CONSTRUCTION (family house)<br \/>\nIf you are building the house of your dreams from scratch, you should prioritize the investment of your money in the comfort.<br \/>\nThis means to have a passive house that invest few to reach the best comfort.<br \/>\nFor Passive house in Spain in template climate, it is proven that flooring heating is not needed (not even in Lleida).<br \/>\nHowever, you must also ask yourself: will I need cold air in summer?<br \/>\nIf you live in a shady side of Benasque, you may not need refrigeration in summer.<br \/>\nBut if the house is in Castelldefels, it is very likely that you need cold air in summer.<br \/>\nMy recommendation then is to install a mixed Aerothermal with either:<br \/>\n&#8211;
