Many of our projects require collaborators who must speak Catalan, Spanish, and English fluently.
\nFor this reason, we do not currently have the structure to host interns or trainees.
\nAgain, this is not about talent\u2014it is simply the reality of our workflow and scale.<\/p>\n

A Story From My Own Beginning<\/h2>\n
When I was in my early twenties, I was completely obsessed with the idea of working in London.
\nSo I did something a little crazy.
\nI spent one week walking around the city, visiting architecture offices I admired, spreading my portfolio and knocking on doors.
\nThe result? Absolutely nothing.<\/strong><\/p>\nNo offers, no interviews\u2014just a lot of walking and a very heavy portfolio.
\nThen someone told me about a creative opportunity in Murcia (yeah, go search that on google maps).<\/p>\nIt was summer. It was incredibly hot. I was sweating all day.
\nBut I worked on an amazing project with the architect Jos\u00e9 Mar\u00eda Torres Nadal.<\/p>\nHe was extremely kind to me. And one day he said something that changed everything.
\nHe told me he knew someone in Rotterdam, and that there was a huge architectural scene there with many large international offices.<\/p>\nSo I did it again.
\nAnother week. Another stack of portfolios. More knocking on doors.
\nAnd eventually, I got my first international job at MVRDV.<\/p>\nI\u2019m still incredibly proud of that moment. And beyond the job itself, I made friends for life there.<\/p>\n
A Few Small Pieces of Advice<\/h2>\n
Architecture careers rarely follow straight lines.
\nSometimes the opportunity appears:<\/p>\n- \n
- in a city you never planned to visit<\/li>\n
- through someone you meet unexpectedly<\/li>\n
- after many rejections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
So keep going. Stay curious. Stay generous with people.
